Sunday became the Lord’s Day

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and on the 7th day he rest, Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday morning.

The Jewish Sabbath was on Saturday, but when Jesus was resurrected, Sunday became the day for the Christians to celebrate communion and learn about Christ and are commission here on earth.

I just finished watching the Bible Mid-Series and it was a good production. I marvel that the Jewish leaders thought that if they killed Jesus that he would be forgotten in a few weeks, but over 2,000 years later his church is still there and it is still growing.

So this Sunday morning, I see the sunlight coming through the window and I am feeling blessed by the image it must have been to see Jesus alive again. Jesus has risen, he has risen in deed. So rejoice my friends.

Get up this morning and worship this great King, the King of our church. Happy Resurrection Day – each and every Sunday.

To day is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice in it!!!!
